			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Chemonics International Inc. a leading international consulting firm,seeks experienced, long-term, full-time position of a Bookkeeper for a project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Program Representasi (PROREP). This project aims to increase the effectiveness of representative groups and institutions in Indonesia and, in doing so, bolster both democracy and good governance in Indonesia.<br />
Specific requirements<br />
The PROREP bookkeeper will have primary responsibility of assisting with all project bookkeeping tasks and perform basic financial functions. The job responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Receive invoices from vendors and manage and ensure timely payment by the project.</li>
<li>Prepare documentation for all payment transactions (except payment mobile phones, office telephone and electricity), including but not limited to vouchers, checks and transfer forms. Ensure that appropriate documentation and approvals are obtained.</li>
<li>Maintain the project’s accounting files system. Make sure that all vouchers are in order, completed properly and have bank slips/copy of checks attached.</li>
<li>Maintain the tax files for the project, recorded and paid in timely manner.</li>
<li>Prepare daily Bank Reconciliation.</li>
<li>Assist Finance Manager to prepare payroll for all local staff based in Jakarta.</li>
<li>Explain generally accepted accounting principles, USAID and Chemonics regulations to staff and consultants, as necessary.</li>
<li>Perform other general bookkeeping duties as needed and other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager.</li>
</ul>
<p>Reporting<br />
The Bookkeeper reports directly to the Finance Manager. He/She will prepare regular oral and written progress reports that demonstrate the status of project activities toward expected results, as well as other reports as required.<br />
Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent organizational and bookkeeping skills.</li>
<li>Minimum two years of experience as bookkeeper or finance officer.</li>
<li>Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office software including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word. Also, experience with accounting software programs such as QuickBooks</li>
<li>Knowledge of USAID policies, procedures, rules and regulations is an advantage.</li>
</ul>
<p>Time Frame<br />
This long-term, full-time position is available immediately with an annual approved level of effort of no more than 260 days for each project year. The employment agreement will be renewed on an annual basis following a positive performance evaluation. The PROREP project began on April 19, 2011 and ends on April 18, 2014, with a possible 2-year extension period to April 18, 2016.<br />

<p>Caritas Czech Republic Aceh Mission (CCR) has been implementing rural  livelihoods development activities in Aceh Jaya district since 2005 after  finalizing emergency phase of the post tsunami relief. Livelihood field became  soon a core activity of CCR in Aceh. For more than 4 years CCR has been  providing long term support for the victims of tsunami in the fields of  agriculture, agro-forestry and aquacultures (all sub districts of Aceh Jaya  district).</p>
<p>CCR is currently looking for qualified staff to fill the Bookkeeper position based in Padang. The Bookkeeperreports to Finance Manager, works closely with Finance Assistant, supports service team, develop and maintain all filling  systems for all accounting documents and financial report. Maintain document for  office purchases, asset register and other task assigned by Finance Manager.</p>

Descriptions of responsibilities :</p>

<li>Prepare documentation for all payment transactions (except payment mobile phones, office telephone and electricity), including but not limited to vouchers, checks and transfer forms. Ensure that appropriate documentation and approvals are obtained.</li>
<li>Maintain the project&#8217;s accounting files system. Make sure that all vouchers are in order, completed properly and have bank slips/copy of checks attached.</li>
<li>Maintain the tax files for the project, recorded and paid in timely manner.</li>
<li>Prepare daily Bank Reconciliation.</li>
<li>Assist Finance Manager to prepare payroll for all local staff based in Jakarta.</li>
<li>Explain generally accepted accounting principles, USAID and Chemonics regulations to staff and consultants, as necessary.</li>
<li>Perform other general bookkeeping duties as needed and other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager.</li>
</ul>
<p>Reporting</p>
<p>The Bookkeeper reports directly to the Finance Manager. He/She will prepare regular oral and written progress reports that demonstrate the status of project activities toward expected results, as well as other reports as required.</p>
<p>Qualifications</p>
<p>Excellent organizational and bookkeeping skills.Minimum two years of experience as bookkeeper or finance officer.Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS `Office software including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word. Also, experience with accounting software programs such as QuickBooksKnowledge of USAID policies, procedures, rules and regulations is an advantage.</p>
<p>Time Frame</p>
<p>This long-term, full-time position is available immediately with an annual approved level of effort of no more than 260 days for each project year. The employment agreement will be renewed on an annual basis following a positive performance evaluation. The C4J project begins on May 12, 2010 and ends on May 11, 2014.</p>

1. Bachelor Degree (S1) in Accounting from a reputable university with GPA of at least 3.00 in scale of 4.00;<br />
2. Female, max 30 years old;<br />
3. Minimum 1 year experience in finance and administration;<br />
